"Two Studies for the Pianoforte"— dedicated to G. A. Osborne — Lindsay Sloper, Op. 19 (Ransford and Son).
These are professedly intended as supplementary to Czerny's "Velocite" and as such will be found eminently practicable (practise-able) and useful. The first is a study for "thirds," the second for "octaves." Both reveal the hand of a master. Mr. Lindsay Sloper might with advantage produce more in this way.
