Jack Forster was working on the family history during the early 1960's and visited us a few times at "Enniscrone" and made photos (pre photocopy technology) of family documents HAP had from his mother. He presented Mum and HAP with a set of silver coffee spoons.
According to clippings sent to Peg Oct 1967 by Dorothy Blair on his death, he was a retired metallurgist who lived in Tasmania most of his life and was Treasurer of the tas. Liberal Party, and a councillor of Emerald Riding, Vic. "Survived by his second wife and son of first marriage". Was a son of his killed in action during WW2?
Federation index has his birthplace as Lfield. Sure to be Lancefield as where his brother was born and his parents lived at the time.
