James BEATTY
HAP told us that he "used to swim across Sligo Bay with Captain Webb" (1st man to swim the English Channel and who died at Niagara Falls). This seems highly unlikely.
Died of "Bronchitis 12 months", Farmer, aged 76. Matilda Robinson of Breandrum, the informant, was in attendance during his last illness.
