Wedding announcement from newspaper, Standard (Frankston, Vic. : 1939 - 1949) Friday 6 March 1942. WEDDING BELLS PAGET-GASKIN Miss N. Gaskin, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Gaskin, of George St., Frankston, was married to Mr. Mervyn Paget (R.A.N.), son of Mr. and Mrs. J. McIlroy, Beach Street, Frank ston, at the Beckenham Memorial Congregational Church, Mascot, Syd ney, on February 21. The wedding, ceremony was per formed in a naval atmosphere, and the bride and bridegroom departed from the Church under an arch formed by naval ratings. The lovely brides maid was Miss Nellie Ewan, and the best man was Mr. Cyril Well (R.A.N.). The wedding breakfast was held at the home of Mrs. D. Anderson (sister of the bridegroom), and, after a very pleasant evening had been spent, the happy couple left for their honeymoon at the Hotel Sydney.
