Jack Forster noted that she is the daughter of Cuthbert and Margaret Blackett, and according to 1851 census, she was born at Abbey Mill where they lived at the time.
Death notice from The Argus Sat 13th Nov 1897 FORSTER.-On the 12th November, at the residence of her son-in-law, Joseph Fordyce, Cyril- villa, Kerferd-road, Albert park, Anne Blackett, relict of the late Luke Forster, and beloved mother of Mrs J. H. Goudie, Mount Morgan, Queensland, W. M. Forster, Toorak, and the late Dr. H. B. Forster, Albert Park ; grandmother of Dr. A. E. Blackett Forster, Lancefield, aged 85 years.
