Edward ORME Esq.

  General Notes:

Burke's 1871 says "This is a branch of the family of Orme of Carne Co. Mayo". Mullins implies that this family is unrelated to them though. Donohoe mentions a tombstone [where?] saying "Edward Orme, late of Ballycarroon departed this life on the 1st November 1779, aged 87 years". Probably the father of this Edward?

Edward married Margaret PAGET, daughter of Thomas PAGET Esq. and Margaret ORME, in 1760.⁵¹⁴ (Margaret PAGET was born about 1740 in Ireland and died in 1825 in Ballycarroon, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo ⁵¹⁴.)
