The Argus, Wednesday 25 June 1879 p. 5. In the list of passengers by the Leura from Sydney, published on Monday, we ob- serve the name of Dr Henry Blackett Forster. Dr Forster is a native of this city, and is the son of Mr Luke Forster. He matriculated at the Melbourne University was a student at the Medical School, and also attended the wards of the Melbourne Hospital. Near the close of 1877 he determined on completing his course in Great Britain, and with this view went home as surgeon of the Lady Jocelyn. He now returns to the colony the possessor of the following degrees: Lic Fac Phys and Surg. , Glasgow: Lic. R. Coll. Phys., Edinburgh: Lic. Midwif. K. and Q. Coll. Phys., Ireland. During his stay in England, he held various positions in St. Thomas's Hos- pital, London. On his arrival in Sydney, as medical officer of the Ann Duthie, he was the recipient of a complimentary address from the passengers.

WEDDINGS Clelland - Virgen Holy Trinity Church, Valley, was chosen for the marriage of Miss Phyllis Beth Virgen (youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Virgen, Nundah) and Mr. Malcolm Fleming Clelland (twin son of Mrs. M. Clelland and the late Mr. Clelland), on November 17. The Rev. S. Watkin officiated, and Miss Jean Clelland sang a solo. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a trained gown of Chantilly lace, with long, tight sleeves and a veil of tulle, held with a circlet of orange blos soms. She carried a shower bouquet. Miss D. Gillon, as bridesmaid, wore a frock of green chalky crepe, moulded to the knee, and falling to a short train The hemline was knife-pleated, and she wore a cap to tone. Her bouquet was of red roses and carna tions. Mr. Wallace Clelland (twin brother of groom) acted as best man. A reception was held at the Jenolan Cafe, where Mrs. Virgin [sic] received her guests wearing a frock of salmon pink flat crepe and a hat to match. The bridegroom's mother wore a hat to match her ice blue frock trimmed with kiltings. On leaving for the honey moon, which is being spent at Yaamba, the bride wore striped blue and white crepe de Chine, with- a windswept blue swagger coat, and a small matching hat.

The wedding, ceremony was per formed in a naval atmosphere, and the bride and bridegroom departed from the Church under an arch formed by naval ratings. The lovely brides maid was Miss Nellie Ewan, and the best man was Mr. Cyril Well (R.A.N.). The wedding breakfast was held at the home of Mrs. D. Anderson (sister of the bridegroom), and, after a very pleasant evening had been spent, the happy couple left for their honeymoon at the Hotel Sydney.

Paget who was previously reported wounded, had succumbed to his injuries. Pte. Paget, who was a native of Violet Town, enlisted over two years ago from New Zealand. His brother, Pte. Les. Paget was killed in France about a fortnight previously.".

It is with unfeigned regret that we have this day to record the demise of this truly amiable, benevolent, and deeply lamented lady. The melancholy event, caused by an attack of fever, took place on Friday last at Owenmore, the residence of her husband, William Orme, Esq. Mrs. Orme was in the prime of life, being in her 35th year She has left a large and highly respected circle of relatives and acquaintances to deplore her early removal from this world of troubles and disappointments. Her remains were conveyed to the family burying ground, Moygownagh, on Monday, attended by a vast concourse of the respectability of this neighbourhood.".
