2003 Firestorm
18 January 2003 is a day well remembered in Canberra. As well as taking photos on that frightful day, I photographed the aftermath in the rural and conservation areas just two days later when the trees and burnt facilities were still smoking.
I am currently working on this album which involves assessing several thousand photos on transparency film and scanning a representative selection. I aim to make it available on this website from March 2020.
